Methodist Chapel = up the slope, level with School House
Victoria Terrace/Bottom 'Ducketts' = two-storey white houses to left of the bottom Ducketts = yellow single-storey houses behind the chapel
View Terrace/Top 'Ducketts' = three blocks of yellow houses on top of hill
Colliery = complex to the right of the drawing, the Screens where the coal arrived for sorting directly from the various drifts
Not portrayed in this drawing, still standing today are 'Prospect House 1 & 2'; adjoining houses situated directly opposite Victoria House on the other side of Lintzford Road, along with Albert and Alexandra Terraces (now Albert and Alexandra Street) and Chopwell Villa which are located off to the left further up Lintzford Road, at the 'top' of the village. Modern-day houses also stand on the plots of Clavering House and Clavering Cottage.
